i'm not a breeder but i'm not quite understanding what's the big deal? what's wrong with having a more knowledgeable third party helping to ask the appropriate questions of a breeder regarding a puppy? when i was looking for a puppy, i found a breeder that lived near a friend of mine. since it was far away and i had no clue about what to ask a breeder and my friend has raised puppies before, so i asked my friend to checkout the breeder for me. it just makes more sense for my friend to call, ask the right questions, visit and check out the environment and legitimacy of the breeder, then report back to me with her input based on her experience.

as it turned out, the breeder wasn't what i was looking for. i'm glad i didn't have to travel hundreds of miles just to figure that out. now with that, am i being "underhanded" by sending a third party out on my behalf? or just "effecient"?
