We use the AC year round and my boys don't mind it, but do tend to sleep under the blankets. If they have their own beds make sure there is a blanket topper that he can keep warm. Yorkies don't have the double coat like most dogs and can't take the heat or cold like dogs that have fur. Fur can keep a dog cooler or warmer depending on what it needs.
