I really think it's best to keep Yorkies in an xpen the first 6 months and even longer if you can. Unless your eyes can be glued to them and you can give them 100% of your attention they are safest in the x-pen. The first year they will eat absolutely anything you drop on the floor. This can be so dangerous raisons, onions and pills can make them deadly ill. I also wouldn't expect 100% until you Yorkie is much older, closer to a year, she might be 95% at 5 months, but that other 5% can take a while..
