You might wanna get her used to being groomed before it turns into an all out war
You don't want them to get into a place where they run or become aggressive when they see the grooming tools

Make sure that what you are using isn't painful
what is comfortable for you might not be comfortable for a five pound dog
Try treats during the experience
Have someone distracting her while you are grooming her with some treat food
little chicken bits or even some peanut butter on a finger

talk to her while you're grooming her in a calm quiet voice
You want Zen .... not hyperactivity

My guys like the brushing part
The actual water and drying ..... they hate

While I am getting their bath ready they are like always behind be doing their
"Whatcha Doin?" Thing
They see me getting the towels ... Oh you're getting the towels out
and I start running the water .... Oh are you gonna take a bath?
but as soon as they see that Hair dryer
.... Oh you're takin' out the hair dryer? You don't usually take out that hair dryer unless you're gonna give us a bath
They're gone in seconds
