I was all IN Pekingese rescue back in the 90's (Lion Dog Rescue) when I was showing my Pekes (I'm new to Yorkies, but had Pekes until the last one passed at 15 y/o in 2008. Stopped show career/rescue in 2002 when my mother was diagnosed with ALZ). We shut down several Pet stores during those years, but I didn't know that Tractor Supply sold pups, that's a new one for me.

I feel the passion you have for rescue and understand the distain for puppy farms. I always said if breeders were required to serve in rescue for a year before aquiring a business license maybe they would see the importance of at least making the spay/neuter contract mandatory for pet purchases.
