Correction: I ment to say a bristle brush. mimimomo is right those slicker brushes shouldn't be use on a single coat dog. I do however use a cat slicker brush. It doesn't have those pointy wire pin like things that hurt. Im glad that I caught this before evryone lashed out about that littel typo.

I have yet to find a slicker brush that doesn't scratch, it does hurt! They're designed to remove dead hair from shedding breeds, not to be used on single coated delicate hair.
