And just remember, the first things you make may not be perfect, but don't give up! Practice will make it better, and you'll learn new things with each project! When I started to knit again after 30+ years, I couldn't remember how to cast on stitches! I was trying to do ribbing and it looked more like a basketweave, lol. But I kept trying and practicing and I get it now! I learned how to fix some mistakes along the way too. My pups aren't too picky, they love wearing stuff I make for them! If you want a laugh, I posted a thread with picks of my first knitted dog sweater.
