I just neutered a lovely male yesterday and he will go to his new home once the incision has healed. Could he have finished his CH title? Probably. But he has a wonderful home waiting for him, where the couple is retired and want a dog to cuddle and love. I could count on one hand homes where I have placed show dogs. I will keep the best for myself and place the rest. But I am changing my policy to spay/neuter everything before it leaves my home. Then, there is no interpretation for error.
Melanie, sorry this has happened to you. But you have certainly learned very quickly in the dog show world that not everything is as it seems.
