Finally SUCCESS! Thank you for all your suggestions and I tried them all. I even took a new plastic table cover and put out in the yard yesterday, but that freaked her out. Everything I tried failed. So, as a last ditch effort, I did what I had done with Maddie once when we needed urine, but really didn't think Libby would go for it. I took a little medicine cup and put over her pee pee...then I put a diaper on her to hold it in place. I took her outside and found the driest area in the yard and put her down. I then stepped away so she wouldn't get nervous about what I would do. I told her to go potty, and she squatted and peed for a long time. As soon as she was done, I got the diaper off and a very large amount of urine in that little cup! I was nervous because the diaper was wet and I feared there'd be none in the cup, but there was. Yeah! Way to go, my little Libby! I got it right up to the clinic and waiting for them to call with results. |
