Personally I think everyone is being way to harsh on the OP. It is great that Deb has offered to help. The degree of help Deb gives should be between her and the OP. There are many things to consider and the OP has several options. She might be more comfortable trying to find someone that can come to her home to help. Perhaps someone that breeds dogs in her area. I feel it would be very hard on the expectant momma to take her away from her home and put her with a complete stranger just days before she is going to have puppies. Just that in itself could cause her to have her pups prematurely. But if the OP is really set on being with her daughter when her grandchild is born then letting Deb keep the momma and her babies for awhile would be an option to consider.

To the OP, having a litter is a huge responsibility as you well know. The birthing part is just the beginning. You have to be prepared for 10 to 12 weeks of work in caring for the momma and her babies. So many things can happen. You won't be able to leave her for long periods of time. If she is use to traveling and being around other people then she would probably adjust just fine with Deb or if you took her with you after the pups are born. The decision is up to you. You know your girl better than anyone. I do hope you talk to Deb. There is so much to learn about whelping and raising a litter you just can't learn it all by reading about it online. Please keep us informed. We are all a very caring and concerned YT community and we pray for the best for your girl.
