IMO the groomer did a great job on his face. Can't see much of his back but she did cut him way down but it looks well done and his hair looks shinny. You have a good looking little guy.
In regards to the ears I can only see the front, but from the front she did it correctly. The traditional way to trim a yorkies ear, is to shave all the hair on the inside, cut and edge the outer ears to a sharp point and then tip the back of the ears, which means shave down the top 1/3 of the ear. Over the last few years there are many people that like the look of the yorkie ears to grown out long, which reminds me of a papion's (sp?) ears. What happens if you do not trim the edge of the ears they keep growing and turns into long strands of hair. If you want to see what I mean by that, look in the video section here for the Dexter Videos by Dexter and Alana she leaves her pups ears natural and it looks cute, but it is a preference.
