I have been debating whether to share this story with you but feel I should. Many years ago when I was in my early 20's (old lady now lol) We had the most precious little tiny beagle. She was bred by a larger dog. I too thought wth its puppies mother nature will do its job. We lived 40 miles from the nearest vet. I stood and watched in shock and horror as our precious little girl literally bled to death. All the time yelling and crying into the phone with my vet who could not of gotten there in time. 3 of the pups were breach and the others didn't survive. It was the most heartbreaking thing I have ever had to watch. I just don't want to see you have to go through anything like this. Yes now I am older and would of taken her in to have her pups but at the time I didn't have a clue and no internet to ask advice from those who did. |
