Today was Tuckers first grooming. He is 6 months old......when I picked him up I was not prepared for the change in his looks! Oh, the groomer did wonderful work....but all his hair was gone...I want his little curls back...lol...I was reminded how it was when my son had his first hair cut! Now, the question is....can the hair not be cut and left at least 2 inches long? He is not shaved but he is almost an inch plus she took off the hair on the tips of his ears! Is this the normal Yorkie fist cut? I will stress agian ...the groomer did excellent work...perhaps I didn't know how to relate to her what I wanted since it was the first time for him an me! We are slowing getting used to it but I cannot wait for the hair to get back out a little! It makes his head look too big....he is just 3.4 lbs. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts on this!
