I somehow feel a need to post something and after quoting these two posts, I find myself just staring at the screen and searching for the words to say.
Sennie - I pointed you to this section because I knew these well experienced breeders would move heaven and earth to help your girl and you. With offers to skype with you and then an offer to actually meet up with you and whelp for you (an experienced breeder who doesn't even know you but is willing to do this out of the pure kindness of her heart and love for Yorkies), these ladies sure went above even my own expectations of help. I hope you think about this a lot harder and do what is best for your mama dog. I am not in your shoes and I don't know you so I am going to trust that you want what is best for her because you obviously love her enough to come here looking for help and researching.
I guess I'm just at a complete loss as to why you wouldn't want her in the hands of someone who is more than beyond capable of taking care of her and her pups. If this truly is going to be her only whelp - and yours - it's illogical to me for you to do it on your own when you have a FREE offer of help from an experienced breeder. I don't understand that decision. I just ask that you please be sure in your heart that this is not you trying to prove you can do it versus giving the best possible option to your girl. Do you truly believe it is in your girl's best interest to turn down an experienced breeder's help and do this on your own ?(trust me, you can research your tail off as you say, but nothing comes close to real life experience - in anything - not just this)
Praying your girl and her pups have a safe delivery. That's really all I can do. I get frustrated when people judge others so I am trying really hard not to do that with you. I'm seriously just at a complete loss. God bless your girl........
