It looks like Deb Sillers has offered to help with the whelp if the OP is close to her. That truly would be Amazing

Easter dinner we thought we might have a whelping problem, and one of our breeder friends who wasn't with us because her girl was due, called in the middle of supper - 3 born nicely - and then STALL - with at least 2 more pups to go. Thankfully after just over an hour - when we were packing up to go over to her house - she started again! Ohew successfull whelp and beautiful babies.

Whelping quite simply takes precedence over almost everything.
