If her heat was so close to when she had to be confined, I am just wondering if it is really because of being confined. I guess you will know more after she's set free. If she still stinks, you may just have to make your rounds on the various shampoo products until you find one that works best for her.

As for the ears, I make sure they are the first thing I dry with the blow dryer after Mandie's baths. You can also by some ear cleaning solution that is fast drying. The key is to make sure no water/moisture stays in her ears which could lead to bacterial or fungal infections.
