Not with the female I owned. Unless of course "I" or hubby wanted to mate with her But as you know I don't breed YT's.

Safety first for both dogs is so in-grained in my large dog mind, I just always go there.

My large males never shut down for me, but then again, they are obedience trained with lots of handling, and for our breed submission (gladly) to the owner is in trained.

But seriously for my breed, I think I will go with AI from now on. The other more "natural" way is so fraught with risk as compared to AI.

I just hope that that pair get through their breeding safely!
