What do you mean by 'heavy'? I'm not sure how to answer you until I know what you're really asking by 'heavy'.
Many dogs love lamb, and some don't - just a preference. It's a nice protein to try if you want some variety in your kiddo's diet.
Just remember to always leave *some* novel protein sources untried, just in case you need novel proteins down the line bc of allergies or whatnot.
