Hi, I posted back in 2008 about our puppy Ginger Bear's size! Well, Ginger is now 4 years old, beautiful, smart, loving, playful & all these attributes are tightly packed into a perfectly shaped and marked 14 pound Yorkie body!

Ginger Bear fast walks with me every day for 6 miles and has yet to arrive home exhausted! She is an Olympic digger...dug a real tunnel underneath our concrete decking surrounding the pool and consistently enlarges every chipmunk hole she finds in our yard! Imagine my grooming habits in order to keep her pristine and silky! ha She goes with me everywhere, including school to visit the children.

I wouldn't trade her size for smaller EVER! When others greet her, they invariably say to me,"She is beautiful, what breed is she?" I say, "Yorkie." They say," Oh, she is so large!" I say, "Like the original Yorkies in Yorkshire, England...she is a direct descendant!" Ha
