Yes good breeders can normally estimate the size of a puppy because they know there breeding dogs lines and know what there breeders have normally had. Sadly teacup is only used by bad breeders so they can charge a higher amount for the puppy and usually to make the puppy seem smaller they will even lie and sell them to you younger then what they are saying. Only bad breeders will use the word teacup. They also normally breed female dogs under 5 pounds to get these "teacups" which is very dangerous and should not be done and when they do it, it shows they don't care at all of the breeding female or her health and safety would be there number one concern. In the united states the AKC is the only reputable registry. I am sorry if you feel like you are being attacked or jumped on but we have seen many people come here obsessing over the weight of there dog and then under feeding or even not loving there dog because it go to weigh to much.
