The ER doctor SHOULD have called the cardiologist on call, for him to be seen stat in the ER.....releasing your fil to was negligent at best. Was a CT done of his head to see if he could possibly have a small bleed in his head? What did they do that makes him think your fil needs to see a cardiologist? Dis they check his carotids? If he has occlusive carotid disease, and he is having mini strokes, and he is released from the emergency room in an altered mental state....he is symptomatic and what they did is negligent.
