It sounds to me like he was traumatized and I think you are doing the right thing for now. You have to think of everyone else and get the yard safe for him.
When he returns, spend some time walking with him. (sorry, I sound like Caesar Milan) Get him back in tune with who is the boss and how things work in your pack, I mean family. I would also contact the lady and ask her more about her incounter with him. All sounds very odd. |
