I asked the specialist I use about that medicine (adequan) for CT and he said that it does not work. That probably because it supposedly works on cartilage people are hopeful and that because CT can wax and wane, people might believe it is helping. I don't suppose it would hurt to try it, but doubtful.
Sadly, there really isn't anything that is a miracle for this terrible condition. It always bothers me to see that breeders continue to show and breed dogs with this condition or other dogs from lines that have it. I totally do NOT understand that kind of greed. Guess they think it is not genetic. I dunno....
