I give Loki medicine mixed with top quality canned food, just about a tablespoon every day. It's not enough to fill him up so he still eats his dry food. I brush his teeth every day so I don't worry about it. If you want them on dry food for convenience, firmer stools, etc. you can soften it with chicken stock (the good stuff) or water at first. If they hold out for the wet food, keep going with that until they are old/big enough to handle not eating for a day. Once they are, give it a couple of days and I bet they give in. I didn't let Loki get away with holding out for chicken or rice. Once they beg or hold out, it's a hard habit to break. Be strong!

Also, Loki was never interested in eating his Natural Balance but he really likes his Canidae. Maybe find a yummier food and try switching (slowly) to that? It's also hard when they are teething. Good luck!!
