Poor little guy. This has happened to my Scotty and my Jilly, too, as each of them liked to crawl under covers down to near my feet. But they did struggle and let me know but didn't make a big, big, fuss. I think they might have sensed they were hanging over the edge of the bed and in a precarious position as only the tucked in edge of the covers were holding them each time, so they only whined or moved a bit - can't recall now but it wasn't the ruckus you would think a dog would put up when stuck. I think they each knew he was hanging by threads so to speak.
