When I bred persians we had to breed to the breed standard which always meant a short muzzle and a stocky body and a very balanced animal I achieved a regional win for best of breed, with that said my vet would always have heated discussions with me telling me I was breeding freaks that did not look like cats and causing health problems like excess eye drainage and respritory problems and etc but I bred to the show standard to better the breed, as for yorkies I do not prefer a teacup yorkie I prefer a teapot yorkie my suri weighs eight pounds I wanted it that way I love her to death her temperament is great I love every thing about her but I dont intend to breed her, Millie
