Welcome to YT. I think you have an adorable yorkie. I trained my yorkies in the same way I trained bigger dogs we have had in the past. Positive reinforcement to me is always the best way. I have not found the harder to train in fact when it came to housebreaking and such it has been just the opposite. Laddy was completely pad trained at 10 weeks and Kyra at 13 weeks. Outside trained at 12 and 15 weeks. Yorkies love to please their people so lots of praise I believe is the key and if they misbehave a simple show of displeasure such as a sad face and placing them on the floor and walking away for a period of time seems to work best with mine. I have when they seriously misbehaved over and over placed them in time out in their crates in another room which I know some disagree with but it has worked with mine.
