I dont think we are getting defensive at all as a former persian breeder i cant begin to tell you how many c sections i had to have and sometimes I would loose all of the kittens and had to have a breeding female spayed their is no guarantee if you breed your dog that you will get live puppies so many many things go wrong and I for one had my own stud males I did not want to risk using another persons male because I did not want my females exposed to disease from another cattery, I had a very bad experience with my very first litter when I used some body elses stud if you want to know what happened let me know.
