I've had a little salt lamp in our bedroom for a couple years. I don't notice a health benefit, but I absolutely *adore* the soft, orange glow this lamp creates - it's SO alluring! I love soft, glowy lighting - so this kind of ambient lighting is right up my ally. I have it on a timer so that's it's always on from like 8am-9pm....its glow is pretty whether during the day or night. I got mine on ebay or amazon for about $12; it's a small one - about 8 in high and 4" wide or so.
