Odin is very cute and looks like a yorkie to me, but don't shows require AKC registration as proof of purity before they can be shown? As for raising him like a big dog, I think there is a vast difference on how to train yorkies as opposed to big dogs. I would suggest readin up on the training section of this forum for pointers. Yorkies will talk back and also act out if not trained in the right way. Good luck with training and welcome to yorkietalk.
