I got lucky and didn't have this problem. However, I think if you out wait them to pee or poop, they will do it outside. When he didn't peep or poop outside, I would bring him in and put him in his airline carrier or hold him so he wouldnt pee on his pee pads and then I would take him back outside again. Plus,I taught him the word potty and pee-pee when he was going on his pads. So I would stand there and repeat it to get him to go when we were outside. He just put 2 and 2 together. On walks he just does it. I don't know how he learned. He might have smelled other dogs or something. At first he didn't go on walks only in his dog run. Then he just did and I praised him. |
