i'm also of the opinion that i have to go every 3-5 hrs too. i don't expect more of my little puppy than i can handle myself. bunjee is nearly 5 months old and about 5.5 lbs. he can't hold it through the entire night either without having get up at least once to go. but he's trained enough now to get up, walk over to the potty pad in the kitchen to pee, then either go back to the bed in the kitchen, or actually walk back to the bedroom and into the crate to sleep.

is allowing her to go potty herself an option? either using a potty pad or a doggie door to go outside? perhaps then you can go your sleep won't be disturbed.
