Based on what I have read here relative to YT members' experience, some dogs do better when the hair is plucked and some do better when it is left alone.

If your pup has thick ear hair, I would remove some or all. My guys don't have much, so I don't pluck. I do comb daily with a flea comb to remove loose hair and any wax. We also use an ear cleaner with a drying agent after baths, but sometimes I forget.
