I do hope you try to see what you can do to help stop this breeder from passing dogs like that off as purebred Yorkies - if it is proved or extremely likely that is exactly what they are doing. It could save a lot of heartbreak and money - money that some people don't have and might have saved to get themselves the dog of their dreams - a full-blooded Yorkshire Terrier. Buying from one of the respected and reputable Yorkshire Terrier breeders in your area will likely be more expensive but perhaps not in the long run by the time you are finished trying to get to the bottom of this situation and get DNA tests, maybe hire a lawyer, etc. Here's hoping that you find some resolution that makes you feel better. But do you know what? Your little Minnie is precious and will probably keep you amazed at how smart she is if she is part MinPin and Yorkie. If she is part Chi and Yorkie, she will be a great watch dog and cuddle bug. Whatever she is genetically, she's a darling little girl who is so charming.
