I have been told by several including my vet that Laddy is a redlegged yorkie but I was never sure either. Below is a picture of him as a pup and he still has redder more than gold on him other than his topnot. His fur is slow growing but he has plenty of it. He was 5 months around same age as the OP's pup in this picture. His ears grow very little hair also. Only need trimmed every 2 or 3 months and never need shaved.
