Oh! That's almost funny. Sounds like those high-energy, powerful alpha military/police service dogs that bite their handlers trying to drag them off a bite they want to hold! How cute! She was amped to the max and enjoying her catch but felt she still had work to do! I know it was dangerous, frightening and tragic for the hawk but that little thing was fighting to live and she wasn't going to let go until she thought that thing was no longer a threat and how dare you interfere, Mom!!! I can hear her now, "Mom, I got this!"
