It bounces easily and is very pliable. It is very good for putting small kibble in and just a hole on each end for the kibble to get out. Tibbe has learned exactly how to hit it to make it bounce all over to produce kibble. It is a pale turquoise or pale aqua color. Your might like one like that. Most kongs have hard rubber but this is soft, pliable plastic-y stuff. Tibbe's kongs are mostly about 3 1/2 or 4" long and I put regular kibble in the hole end with wet, sticky kibble close to the hole to kind of glue it all in. He licks that out first and then the other comes out easily but not until the kong bounce on that end so it still is some work. He just loves these things and I sit and applaud him each time he gets some out a lot of the time so he loves an audience! |
Great! I will look into that one. For the time being, I decided to fill this one and just set it down gently so the kibble didn't fall out & just see what he would do...
He figured it out!!! Woohoo!!! Now that he is ignoring his food bowl already, I will get the more challenging one next week so he doesn't get bored. I guess the big hole in this one is teaching him what to do to get the food.
