Well, you seem pretty smart considering Diesel is your first pup. I think you said all the right things to your breeder. I'm not surprised that she was offended/defensive...whatever. But good for you! I had to have a similar conversation with the "rescue" I got my Momo from. And she wasn't even my first dog. We all live & learn
