Someone stole my Austr. Cattle Dog, Dingo, years ago. He was tied to the porch INSIDE my fence. They came in and took him and then let him loose. We always thought they took him to breed their female. He was picked up by Animal Control. I had called and told them he was missing, and even though his collar and tags were missing when they picked him up, they called me to come and see if it was him. It was. I put him in my car, and he turned his back on me and looked out the window. He would not look at me. It was as if he was mad at me for letting him be taken. He did get over it, but it took a few days. It was as if he thought everything he went through was all my fault, and I guess it was. But after a few days he was his old self. So I think there is hope for Rebel. I think he will get over being mad at you (and the world) and go back to being his old self in time. Be patient and good luck. |
