Very disturbing it you ask me.... You have no right to keep her, she is not yours to keep or to re home. You really should at least make some effort into finding her family. Its not that hard to do. You can post on Craiges list, your local pet stores, at least contact let your local Humane Society that you have found her. There has to someone out there in WEATHERFORD OK that is missing her.

You really need to read the full post, you can clearly see that my heart is in the right place, that I am putting the effort in now...
What would we do if it were one of our dogs?
We take too many cautions so this wouldn't happen to be honest, we would have posted on Craigslist, put up flyers, and most importantly walked door to door, we'd be ACTIVE around the clock looking for them.
We keep our dogs nails clipped.
