 Question regarding docking of tails
Hi All - Took our 3 newborns into the vet for dew claws and tails this morning. They are looking very good - are all over around that 4 oz size now. Question is - how do all of you determine the length of the tail? I have 4 yorkies of my own and all of them have different length tails. The vet said that taking off about 2/3 of the tail is the standard, but wondering what all of your thoughts are on the docking. Thanks |
