I just saw your thread today and am so glad you took your dog to the vet. Never wait to take a dog in when it is ill or its behavior changes drastically. It is better to be safe than sorry and catch any illness or pain early.
Has the vet done the blood work yet? If not and she has pancreatitis, you'll need to get that now to see if liver damage is happening and what else is going on and start appropriate treatment and changes in diet.
And how in the world was she not dehydrated? Did the vet give her IV fluids or a subQ bolus of fluid or something?
Please remember that just because a dog is presently eating, drinking and playing that they are recovered and well. Dogs are genetically programmed not to show illness or weakness until they are quite weak and ill so she will try to act normally as long as she can, even though she might be very sick. They fear being attacked or left out by the pack or other predators in the wild if they show illness or any symptom revealing they are not 100% fit, so they "act" normal to try to stay alive.
Here are some links from our YorkieTalk Library for your help, I hope. These can help you know what to look for to keep your dog safe.
