What is with a channel called The Learning Channel showing junk like this must be???? What can one "learn" from anything as fake as this is described? Why are there so many shows on the History Channel, NGC, TDC, TLC that portray sections of our country being as crude, gross, uneducated, unenlightened, coarse, crass, boorish, earthy and often raunchy as can be? The shows rarely give an evenhanded look at the particular culture of the area in general - just seemingly pick out the seamiest parts and focus in on that. And they are mostly set in the South, Southeast, Appalachia. I hate shows like this one is described to be! Sorry your hometown is being so misrepresented and I highly doubt a show like this will ever show Myrtle Beach in a true light. It seems Hollywood and the entertainment industry loves poking fun and marginalizing whole segments of our society with shows like this.
