Hello everyone!
I finally have a Yorkie and he is adorable!I'm in love< I've always had Chihuahuas still do,since I was 14 years old loved yorkies,but to me (at the time)they all looked the same BOY WAS I SOOO WRONG!I could pick my little buddy out of 50 Yorkie's!He is perfect! I've groomed many yorkies,poodles huge Schnauzer and I have to say my little buddy is awesome at 8 months .I place my palm under his belly and he will stand still and ready loves grooms even prances when done.He knows he gets a big treat afterwards <3 My little guy is 2 pounds 6 oz and I wonder how big he will get as I've read allot of yorkies hitting growth spurts at different sizes.He has been this size now since December.His mom was 4 and a half his father was 2 and a half.His grandmother was 5 pounds his grandfather is 3 ,Also wondering how everyone feels about top knots and too cut his bangs or not too....He will not wear a proper top knot only one little baby band and a clip all day.He dose not try to pull it out our anything as long as it is only one with a small clip or bow.He has his hair as long as we can get it right now with him being only 8 months :P.He has the silky coat so does that make him a silky terrier?
Someone one told me the silky terrier was the original yorkie which was in the 15 pounds size until the current day sizes are they all the same now a days?I want to say yes but,sizes and hair varies between the two?
