The gunmetal is my newest one, so it's in great shape. But the one that seems the hardiest is the black croc, so if I was just to buy one bag, I'd get either the Alex or Alex Luxe in black croc, and I'd go with the large size, because of the pockets being more useable....and if you need to make the interior smaller for a tinier dog, you could just put a small blanket inside to take up some room.
ZoE is just under 10lbs, but she is long & tall, I couldn't squoosh her in the small anymore if I tried
