Default Dog health

I do thank you all for taking the time to share your experiences and to address my question. I was hesitant to post but glad I did. Before YT I had no idea of the various issues with Yorkies and the dangers of puppy mill and BYB dogs. There is so much experience shared here and I for one was so grateful to have answers to health and other questions. When I talk to other dog parents they seem to know nothing of breeders, good food, training etc - never having had the knowledge that YT imparts. They just learn by bitter experience. I was so devastated by the loss of my first baby at 11.5 to kidney failure, I looked everywhere including here to try and find if I could have prevented the horrible and sudden disease. I now know there was not much I could do. Nancy is so right, it is so hard to find a Yorkie that has a good chance of living a healthy and full life, and we can only do our best research and choose an experienced breeder. However, they are lovely dogs and we love them no matter what.
Thanks again.
