My 1 cat only eats wet food- Totally her choice and the other only eats kibble- Also he choice. They are both big water drinkers.

You can feed both wet and dry or only 1. Some say kibble is better for their teeth but I doubt the food consistency makes a diffference. I believe genes play the biggest part in overall oral health. I would recommend brushing there teeth.

My dogs eat FROMM 4 star dog food- Surf n'Turf, Game Bird, or Chicken a la Veg- Mine do best in poultry/chicken based kibble. They get homemade treats- Chicken strips is their fave. I give THK or other dehydrated type dog food as a topper/treat as well as wholesome human food daily- Mostly fresh fruits/veggies.

I feed Nestle/Purina for years til their jerky treats killed my Zoey (April 2012). They just recently recalled the product.
Feed whatever works best for you and your pup.
