It would be nice if all vets were the best, and all owners were the best... better yet all dogs were well bred and never got sick from weak immune systems, etc.... we do the best we can. |
Pardon me for being just a tad bit confused. She said that SHE talked to the specialist. Not that it matters. She clearly is saying she needs money, so my assumption is that she knows something more is needed. I am merely suggesting that IF that is the case, then perhaps something else needs to be done for the sake of the puppy.
I have said what I feel is best and no reason for me to continue this conversation with you. I am here merely as a voice for that puppy AND because the OP DID ask for HELP.

It is NOT like I don't get it...I recently had to come up with over $17,000 for vetting in one month. If anyone thinks that came out of a fluid bank account or a tree in my backyard, think again. Now, do I think that everyone can manage as I was able to do even though it put me in serious debt? No! I am just saying that we should do what we can...I personally would not keep a dog and let it suffer just because I could not get the money to help it. Thankfully, I did not have to make a decision to surrender one of them, but I would if I had to. I simply don't believe in keeping a dog in my home and not providing what I feel is necessary.
I have said enough because she is going to do whatever she is going to do...out of my control. Prayers for Colby.
