I'm so happy that your little pup is healthy again! From your posts, it doesn't seem like your vet was very helpful. Personally, I would never let my pups go 10 days without eating. I wouldn't even let me 185 lb husband not eat for that long...especially if he was sick. Just a suggestion, but maybe you should try to find a new vet. If something like this ever happens again, you need someone there who can help you in the case of an emergency..whether that be during office hours or a weekend. Anyway, good luck with everything! So glad to know that things are okay now!!!
