Well ... I must admit I haven't been here for a while, but now I'm facing a problem.
Jackie, my female yorkie, is in heat for quite a while now, her cycle is finally ending. She's in heat for the first time and she was acting a bit weird, but i expected that.
She was sick for quite a while now and she haven't been out for some time now so she had to pee and go potty inside (which she is used to, she does it all on the pee-pad). When in heat she peed practicaly everywhere, but that wasn't such of a problem, i was kinda prepared for that. But i wasn't prepared for the pooping part - today she went pooping on the couch. I was kinda shocked, because just a few minutes ago i told her to go pee on her pee-pad and she did ... but just like that she went on the couch and took a potty.
I just want to ask you if this is normal for a yorkie in heat? I know that the peeing part is normal because she is marking, but pooping?
And i would be happy for any advice on how to get things back on track. I'm doing the praising and rewarding part, but any additional info would be really helpful. Thank you!
